If you've always wanted to master the art of tying your own flies, now is the perfect opportunity. Join commercial fly tyer Erik Reinholz as he guides you through the complete fly-tying process, providing step-by-step instructions from start to finish. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, all levels are welcome!​​

Feel free to bring your own materials or at least your fly tying vise and tools if you can bring them. I will have limited materials on hand.

Hook: Mustad 79580 Size 6 streamer hook or equivalent
Thread: Black 6/O or 70 denier
Rib: Oval silver tinsel
Body: Flat silver tinsel size medium (12)
Wing: Small bunch of yellow bucktail, over which is equal sized bunch of red bucktail, over which is larger bunch of yellow bucktail, equal in size to the first 2 bunches combined.​
Eyes: (optional) Jungle Cock Eyes

Tail: Red yarn
Body: Flat silver tinsel size medium (12) or large (10)
Wing: Small bunch of white bucktail, over which is equal sized bunch of black bucktail, over which is a bunch of brown bucktail all in approximate equal size and length.
Eyes: (optional) Jungle Cock Eyes

Tail: Barred Woodduck Feather approximately 1/2 the length of the hook shank
Rib: Copper Wire (optional for duribility)
Body: Peacock Herl
Wing: Bunch of yellow bucktail extending just past the bend of the hook, over which is red hackle barbules 1/2 the length of the wing.
